Welcome to Shabani Farm

Shabani Farm is a real groundnut farm in Chiotcha Village, Traditional Authority Makwangwala, Malawi. We started with a small plot, hired three local workers, and planted our first crop of CG7 groundnuts. Plot A1 is now nearly mature and approaching its first harvest. Plots B2 and B3 are planted and growing. We are expanding with community support - every donation funds a specific, verifiable item and you will see the receipt.

Four plots now actively growing!

Great news — plots A1, A2, B2, and B3 are all in the growing stage with healthy groundnut plants. The fertilizer application last month is showing strong results. Plots B1 and C1 have been tilled and are ready for the next planting cycle. We're on track for an April harvest if the rains continue.

Plot A is thriving!

Great news - our original plot (A1 and A2) is doing incredibly well. The groundnuts on A1 are nearly mature and we expect to harvest in 2-3 weeks. A2 is a few weeks behind but the plants are healthy and green. This proves the concept works - now we need help expanding to Plots B and C!
