The short version

FarmFund connects supporters with Shabani Kamphambe's farm in Chiotcha Village, Malawi. We collect only what we need to take a gift, show you where it went, and let you follow your plot. No ads, no tracking, and we never sell your information.

What we collect
  • When you give: your name, your email, whether to show your name on the farm, and what you gave to.
  • Card details go straight to Stripe's checkout page. FarmFund never sees or stores your card number.
  • When you sign in: your email address. We email you a one-time link, so there's no password.
  • In the app: your sign-in is kept in your iPhone's Keychain, and your name and email are remembered on your phone so you don't retype them.
  • We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, on the website or in the app.
What's public
  • Every purchase on the farm, with what it cost and its receipts and photos, is public. That's the point of FarmFund.
  • Your name appears on your plot and next to what your gift paid for, but only if you chose to show it.
  • Your email address is never shown.
Who helps us run FarmFund

Stripe (payments), Supabase (our database and sign-in), Vercel (website hosting) and Resend (sending email). They handle your information only to provide those services to us.

Your choices
  • Hide your name on the farm at any time: email us.
  • Delete your account from My plots, on the website or in the app. That removes your sign-in and takes your name off the farm. Records of past gifts stay on the ledger without your name, because the farm's accounts depend on them. If you'd like your name and email removed from those records too, email us and we will, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Children

FarmFund isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
